wish the wipes were a different design to the ones I use on my baby's bottom!
Wednesday, 28 June 2017  |

I have to say I was hoping the box would be a bit smaller than the usual ones and that the wipes would be different to the ones I use for my baby's bottom. When sorting out washing bleary eyed it isn't easy as I have wipes that I use for the kids hands and faces after eating, nappy changing wipes and make-up remover wipes and they all look fairly similar. I struggle and my husband just doesn't get it at all. I'd rather not run the risk of using bottom wipes (although clean) on my eyes. Please can you make some with a pattern on or something different to distinguish them? Your marketing photo on Facebook has some lovely patterned wipes on. Thank you.

Hi Claire, Unfortunately we are out of stock on the make-up pads which is possibly the picture you saw online. The bamboo wipes will remove your make-up just as well as the pads but I understand you not wanting to confuse them with yoiur baby's bum wipes (although if you wash with dettol antibacterial laundry liquid, you'll know they are hygieneically clean). We should be getting the make up pads back in stock in the next couple of months, will be happy to pop you a few out at that time if you drop me a line.

A great alternative to cotton wool pads
Sunday, 25 June 2017  |

I was umming and ahhing over getting this for a while but I've switched to using the csp (also brilliant) and made the leap when buying some more.
I'm terrible for keeping on top of my skin care and it's usually because I don't have any cotton wool. This kit has taken care of that, it sits easily in my bed side table and works well with my existing products, the wipes haven't stained or misshapened when washed. They're more absorbent than cotton wool and it takes less effort to get my face clean before bed time.
The coconut oil makes a great moisturiser and finishes my routine nicely

Great product
Tuesday, 13 June 2017  |

I bought this as an add on to my baby purchases (yet to be used) and am already feeling the benefits of natural make-up removal. The coconut oil is amazing and refreshes your skin (the tub is also enormous and will last for a very long time), and the wipes, as others have said, do get softer on washing. Really pleased with this purchase as I hated throwing away make-up removal wipes and using wads of cotton wool to take off my make-up.

Just what I wanted
Friday, 12 May 2017  |

I bought the make up remover kit with rainbow bamboo wipes as I'm really trying to cut down on the amount of waste I produce. I had a couple of questions for Cheeky Wipes and I had a cheery response within a few hours which I was pleased about. The wipes are lovely, bright colours which haven't faded or run in the wash. I don't have children myself, but am heartily recommending these kits to my friends who do! They are expensive to start out with, but they money I've saved on wipes will soon balance out that initial outlay.

Wonderful alternative to disposable wipes
Thursday, 4 May 2017  |

I ordered this kit as I was concerned about the environmental impact of using disposable face wipes. It works so well - the coconut oil just melts away my makeup. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the wipes I received are the same colour and shape as some that I have for my children - I was hoping for something a little different so they wouldn't all get mixed up!

Better than I expected!
Thursday, 20 April 2017  |

I thought I'd try reusable make up wipes due to the increasing cost of buying disposable wipes. The reviews tempted me and I've not been disappointed. I love the simplicity of the process, my skin feels amazing after only a week of using them. I also purchased the double wet bag so I can use them when travelling without taking the box as otherwise I'd have to store used wipes with dry wipes. Would thoroughly recommend.

I've only used this the once so far but overall I'm very happy with it removes everything and leaves my skin feelings so soft and moisturized and the plus side saves me money on not having to buy makeup remover wipes

Good but over-priced...
Friday, 3 March 2017  |

These wipes are soft yet the coconut oil removes my make up with ease (even waterproof mascara)... I'm not sure it's worth the cost yet though- receiving only 10 wipes for nearly 20 doesn't seem quite right!

Hi Gemma,
Thanks for your feedback, but just to clarify in the kit, for 20 you're receiving 10 reusable pads, plus the coconut oil (2.50), plus the storage box (6.49) so the pads just cost 11-ish?

I just love these towels. They are so comfy. I have endometriosis so need to wear them everyday. Disposable towels were literally making me miserable, so uncomfortable and itchy. But these are a game changer. Also I have fibromyalgia and am very sensitive to things on my body. So I can't thank you enough. I have various sizes. I hand wash them and they come up like new. ( cold water mind!)

I thought the normal wipes were soft but these are something else! Using on newborn skin without the oils and a million times easier than cotton wool.

Perfect fabric for little hands and faces
Thursday, 4 May 2017  |  Debbie

This is a handy little kit for weaning, especially if you're following baby-led approaches or if little one is a fan of finger foods. Microfibres are the perfect all round cloth for this, pick up the dirt - no matter how sticky - yet they're soft and gentle on baby's skin. The number of wipes I'm saving from landfil is just an added bonus!

Excellent product for post-natal mums

I found these to be a saviour in the weeks after having a baby. They were so much more comfortable than disposable pads and helped give me some much needed comfort. Would definitely recommend to other mums

I wish I had found out sooner !

I'm a forty something woman now , imagine the money and bit of the planet I could have saved if I had discovered cloth sanitary pads as a teenager ?! ( ok cheekywipes weren't invented then ).not to mention the Thrush angle - I've not had thrush ( a regular monthly visitor ) since I switched to cloth towels - makes sense when you think about it your pants don't give you thrush do they ? I've gone for the charcoal ones this time just because my old ones , I've had them for years now , are looking a bit grey - well I would have chucked my old greying pants by now ! They are still perfectly functional but this time if they start off grey then I won't have to think about it .
Snug fitting pants are the answer and as my thong days are gone it's not an issue - just think you will never have that horrible sticky pad sticking in the wrong place or yanking a hair out feeling again !.( ok just me is it ?)

Absolutely love cheeky wipes, can't believe I waited so long to take the plunge into reuseable wipes. Would highly recommend. Have since purchased extra boxes to use with my newborn and 1year old so we can have a set upstairs and down!

Perimenopausal Flood Barrier!

This has been amazing for me. I use it at night and the absorbency is amazing. Very very limited clean ups needed in terms of bedding etc on waking now. I'm surprised at how much less these smell than the chemical disposable pads, everything smells fresher. And this is amazingly comfortable, feels just like wearing underwear - no bulk or discomfort.

Cheeky wipes

Debated buying cheeky wipes for a while after chatting to friends who use them.

We love them!

We're much happier using wipes on hand, face and bums that we know have nothing nasty in them and we also love the smells!

I was a bit dubious, but felt bad about the amount of nappies and wipes in our bin.
I wish I had bought them sooner, although initially I felt the kit was expensive, it really does contain everything you need- even a travel pouch for when out and about. Really recommend.

Dubious customer turned convert!
Wednesday, 5 April 2017  |  Susan

I debated cloth sanitary towels for a long while before buying a starter set. I have particularly heavy periods and always use two night towels at a time, on my worst days I can still go through these in 2-3 hours. I really didn't expect these to be good enough to cope but having used cloth nappies and wipes with 4 children I wasn't too bothered about the cleaning side of trying them and hoped there had to be a better way than I was using currently. They arrived, conveniently on day 1 of my cycle and I decided there was no time like the present and they coped wonderfully but it was day 1 so I wondered if it was just luck, it wasn't. With one towel at a time I went longer between changes and was more comfortable. On day 3 I needed to go at short notice to stay with family and decided this wasnt the time to carry on the experiment and went back to the disposables. If I hadn't been sure before that these are right for me I was after that, they still leaked and still needed doubling up and were less comfortable than ever. As for cleaning the cloth towels I went with rinsing where I could but when out and about it wasn't an option, rinsing was a lot less gruesome than I'd expected and even the ones I didn't rinse came up perfectly white with a 30 degree wash using bold liquitabs and a small scoop of vanish. I'm going to try without the vanish next time but they currently look unused!
