Cheeky Mama Cloth Sanitary Pad Multipack from Cheeky Wipes.  Choose from packs of 5 or 10

Optional: Add some reusable intimate wipes or a double wetbag to keep your clean and dirty pads and wipes in or for using out and about

Minky pad packs contain 5 pads in different colours, cotton & organic cotton pad kits all pads will be the same design.

Mixed use packs contain the following - 5 pack has 1 liner, 3 day pads, 1 night pad. 10 pack has 2 liners, 6 day pads, 2 night pads.

Care Instructions:  Wash at 20c or 30c, warm washing sets blood stains and can damage your pads.  Line dry, reshape whilst damp.

Cheeky Mama Cloth Sanitary Pads are an eco-friendly, healthier, more cost effective alternative to disposable pads. For those new to cloth sanitary pads (csp) the concept can be a little “Ew!” but to be honest using cloth as opposed to disposables is more comfortable. Because they are so much more absorbent, moisture is drawn into the pad, leaving you feeling fresher for longer.

Disposables have to contain lots of nasty toxic chemicals, dioxins and gels to enable them to be absorbent, which can lead to sensitive skin, irritation and thrush. Bamboo however, has a natural antibacterial quality and because it allows your skin to breath, can potentially reduce the risk of yeast infections and discomfort.

Of course it goes without saying that cloth pads will cost a fraction of what you would be spending on disposables each month which just end up sitting in landfill!

The Cheeky Mama pads measure 24cm x 7cm (main pad without wings) and have poppers allowing them to close underneath the gusset of your pants, which allows them to fold in on themselves for discreet carrying.

There are four layers, making them very absorbent without being at all bulky. Really!

  • Outside Waterproof Minkee PUL
  • Middle 2 layers microfibre
  • Top Layer bamboo

Why not add some of our reusable intimate wipes to your order and / or a wetbag for carrying clean and dirty pads / wipes? You can also buy the pads in packs of 5 or 10 , alternatively take a look at our Cheeky Mama Sanitary Pad kits and SAVE money!

OMG why did I not swap to these before?!?
Sunday, 18 June 2017  |

My periods are notoriously heavy and since I was a teenager I have been using 2 nighttime pads together so I was slight dubious so went with nighttime minky pads just as a trial as I kept forgetting to buy disposable pads and would be caught by surprise when it came round again. I work as a bus driver so am sat down for anything up to 5 hours at a time and I would normally find I would flood.

These pads are brilliant. I would not flood all over the place, not as bulky as normal pads and changing the pads well there are a few public toilets along my work route that have sinks in so just rinse them and change them and off I go happy as I can be while riding the emotional dragon.

So I am on month 3 of swapping to these pads and I went away to London for the day. Normally my days out in London would consist of taking a 16 pack of pads and many pairs of knickers and trousers. I went to toilet at every opportunity and not to go into details but no flooding, no costume change and a very happy customer. I am never going back to disposable ones

Cute material
Saturday, 17 June 2017  |

Really speedy delivery and contact. Very cute designs, and the material is so soft I almost don't want to use them!
Only criticism is I've gotten other sets of five thick, high quality sanitary pads from other companies for the same price, and they included a water-proof bag to store and carry them in. You have to buy that separately on this site.
But a lovely product at good value nonetheless.

Perfect starter kit
Friday, 16 June 2017  |

I've heard about these pads before and have sat on the fence about trying them. My sister in law has used them and it gave me the final push I needed.
The mulitpack is brilliant if you are looking to give them a go. They come in a variety of sizes so I used the smaller ones during the day to see how they felt and get used to them. When it came to the time I needed them I had already gotten to grips with what was needed. With this pack you get the bag which is great for carrying clean and soiled ones. They are super absorbant and extremely easy to clean! You will be surprised at how much they hold as well, with none of the smell that can come from the disposable variety. I love my pads I've not had any of my usual sores, irritations or side spillage... it's been amazing toffers wake up in a morning feeling clean rather than the usual sticky, mucky and grimy... I have heavy periods so these for me have been a revelation! I have bought a 5 pack of night time ones as well... As I say I can be heavy so just for my peace of mind until I slowed down the extra night time ones came in handy during the day.

Great, but with some drawbacks
Friday, 16 June 2017  |

These are the first cloth pads I have ever used, I'm in my 30s. I like the design and they function perfectly well. I will definitely continue to use them and find the softness superior to disposable ones. My only concern is that they don't stay put unless I'm wearing leggings, tights or tight trousers. I find them moving forwards and backwards if I have loose trousers or just a skirt on. But on balance I prefer these to plastic

Hi Jennifer, just a couple of ideas for you to stop the slipping - the underside fabric (the minky side) can be brushed in 2 different directions. If you are finding the pad slipping a little, try turning it 180 degrees so what was at the front is now at the back - this sounds odd but if the fabric is going in the other direction it grips better on your underwear and stays put! We also recommend wearing a tighter pant with a high percentage of lycra in, this also helps keep them in place.

Cheeky Mama Cloth Sanitary Pads Multipack - Minky
Friday, 2 June 2017  |

I have only tried these for one period so far and I really liked them. I used a normal disposable pad for the first night of my period as I thought it be best but it just felt uncomfortable to wear and from then on I used the cheeky cloth sanitary pads. I got a variety of them but I really like the minky ones as they are nice and firm. The only slight negative is that even after washing it as instructed there is a very slight stainige on the pad but I don't mind that really.

Speedy delivery, bright colours, and look as though they will do the job.
I would probably have preferred all one colour such as white or charcoal but it isn't important as I will be the only one to see them.

I love these and bought them as I already had a set which I've used loads and fancied some patterned ones for a change. Would recommend highly.

I just love these towels. They are so comfy. I have endometriosis so need to wear them everyday. Disposable towels were literally making me miserable, so uncomfortable and itchy. But these are a game changer. Also I have fibromyalgia and am very sensitive to things on my body. So I can't thank you enough. I have various sizes. I hand wash them and they come up like new. ( cold water mind!)

I thought the normal wipes were soft but these are something else! Using on newborn skin without the oils and a million times easier than cotton wool.

Perfect fabric for little hands and faces
Thursday, 4 May 2017  |  Debbie

This is a handy little kit for weaning, especially if you're following baby-led approaches or if little one is a fan of finger foods. Microfibres are the perfect all round cloth for this, pick up the dirt - no matter how sticky - yet they're soft and gentle on baby's skin. The number of wipes I'm saving from landfil is just an added bonus!

Excellent product for post-natal mums

I found these to be a saviour in the weeks after having a baby. They were so much more comfortable than disposable pads and helped give me some much needed comfort. Would definitely recommend to other mums

I wish I had found out sooner !

I'm a forty something woman now , imagine the money and bit of the planet I could have saved if I had discovered cloth sanitary pads as a teenager ?! ( ok cheekywipes weren't invented then ).not to mention the Thrush angle - I've not had thrush ( a regular monthly visitor ) since I switched to cloth towels - makes sense when you think about it your pants don't give you thrush do they ? I've gone for the charcoal ones this time just because my old ones , I've had them for years now , are looking a bit grey - well I would have chucked my old greying pants by now ! They are still perfectly functional but this time if they start off grey then I won't have to think about it .
Snug fitting pants are the answer and as my thong days are gone it's not an issue - just think you will never have that horrible sticky pad sticking in the wrong place or yanking a hair out feeling again !.( ok just me is it ?)

Absolutely love cheeky wipes, can't believe I waited so long to take the plunge into reuseable wipes. Would highly recommend. Have since purchased extra boxes to use with my newborn and 1year old so we can have a set upstairs and down!

This has been amazing for me. I use it at night and the absorbency is amazing. Very very limited clean ups needed in terms of bedding etc on waking now. I'm surprised at how much less these smell than the chemical disposable pads, everything smells fresher. And this is amazingly comfortable, feels just like wearing underwear - no bulk or discomfort.

Cheeky wipes

Debated buying cheeky wipes for a while after chatting to friends who use them.

We love them!

We're much happier using wipes on hand, face and bums that we know have nothing nasty in them and we also love the smells!

I was a bit dubious, but felt bad about the amount of nappies and wipes in our bin.
I wish I had bought them sooner, although initially I felt the kit was expensive, it really does contain everything you need- even a travel pouch for when out and about. Really recommend.

Dubious customer turned convert!
Wednesday, 5 April 2017  |  Susan

I debated cloth sanitary towels for a long while before buying a starter set. I have particularly heavy periods and always use two night towels at a time, on my worst days I can still go through these in 2-3 hours. I really didn't expect these to be good enough to cope but having used cloth nappies and wipes with 4 children I wasn't too bothered about the cleaning side of trying them and hoped there had to be a better way than I was using currently. They arrived, conveniently on day 1 of my cycle and I decided there was no time like the present and they coped wonderfully but it was day 1 so I wondered if it was just luck, it wasn't. With one towel at a time I went longer between changes and was more comfortable. On day 3 I needed to go at short notice to stay with family and decided this wasnt the time to carry on the experiment and went back to the disposables. If I hadn't been sure before that these are right for me I was after that, they still leaked and still needed doubling up and were less comfortable than ever. As for cleaning the cloth towels I went with rinsing where I could but when out and about it wasn't an option, rinsing was a lot less gruesome than I'd expected and even the ones I didn't rinse came up perfectly white with a 30 degree wash using bold liquitabs and a small scoop of vanish. I'm going to try without the vanish next time but they currently look unused!
