When my first was born i tried cloth nappies, i really wanted them to work and not use disposables but I did find hard, too hard and after a few weeks i changed to disposable ones. i think it says a lot about our society, and none of it good, that we will opt for ease of use over helping the planet and doing the right thing. i know they are wrong, I wish I didn't use them and yet here i am still putting my boy in them.

I totally agree that washables are so much more convenient! I never have to run to the shops to buy nappies - it's great to always have them to hand.
