Version 3 boxes and kits – pre-order now!

I know that i should really wait until next week to post this, as I’ll have my photographers professional pics to share then but I can’t wait!

I’m delighted to announce that our version 3 kits are now available to pre-order online for £35 including postage. (Will be £39.99, plus postage after 10th Feb).

Flat lids for easy stacking

Our new boxes (v3) combine the best bits of version 1 and version 2 boxes:

- flat lids for stacking
- air-tight seal
- one handed opening (but with a single robust clip rather than a pop-top)
- internal hooks on mucky box
- double hinge with stainless steel pin for strength
- water-fill levels

We’ve been testing the samples here at Cheeky Wipes HQ for a couple of weeks and we love them!

The containers can also be pre-ordered – if you’re an existing customer, keep an eye on your in-box next week as you can pre-order the new containers at a hefty discount until the end of December.

The pictures show the kits actually in the factory, the container will ship to us shortly so we’re confident that we’ll have all pre-orders dispatched by 10th February.

We’re delighted to introduce our brand new product and first collaboration, the Cheeky Monkey Baby Wipes Kit:

We’ve got together with Vicki Finn, the UK distributor for Monkey Foot Wet Bags to create a luxury version of our standard Cheeky Wipes Mini Kit (for cloth nappy users).

Like the standard mini kit, the kit contains all you’ll need to use washable wipes if you’re a cloth nappy user and already have a nappy bin and wet bag for using out and about. It contains:

25 terry towelling wipes
1 x fresh wipes soaking container
1 x bottle fresh wipes essential oil

FAQ’s: Baby Wipes and eczema

I’ve had eczema myself since age 5 and although it’s one of those childhood things that people often grow out of, I never did. In fact, my eczema was one of the reasons that I started Cheeky Wipes. At the time, my eczema was particularly bad on my chest and hands and I found that disposable baby wipes made my hands sore and irritated. Not a good state of affairs, when you’re having to change your baby’s bottom 5 times a day.

So I started using a cut up old towel and water instead…and then I added lavender to the water to keep them fresh and make them smell nice. And then I started keeping them in boxes. And finally I decided I wanted to use them out and about and what do you know, but I had a washable baby wipes kit on my hands!

Anyway, I’m digressing. I often receive emails from Mums who find that using disposable baby wipes makes their childs’ eczema worse. Whilst switching to washable wipes won’t cure your little one’s eczema, washable wipes won’t irritate their sore and sensitive skin any further. Used in conjunction with a good moisturiser and whatever your doctor prescribes, you’ll soon have them feeling better. Which is better for all concerned isn’t it?
