A good buy

I liked this set, it gives a nice idea of what cloths will suit you/your baby best. I personally would just go with the white terry cloths as I feel they clean everything better, including hands and face but my children at 21 months and 5 so donít stay still. Maybe you would prefer a softer cloth for a newborn.

Trial Set a Triumph
Wednesday, 11 July 2018  |

My daughter bought cheeky wipes nearly four years ago for her daughter and is now using them for her son as well. She recommended them for our other grandson. They are really soft, do a great job and come up amazingly well in the wash. Thank you for a fantastic product. The trial set is a great idea to sample the different versions of the wipes.

Much kinder

Really pleased with these wipes. I'm a childminder and could easily get through tons of disposable wipes. I use them for hands and faces. They gently but effectively remove all traces of food/dirt/stickiness and are both kinder to skin and the environment. They wash really well and stains come out easily.
Delivery was fast.

I absolutely love it . The only reason I put 4 stars is that I am having problem to work out what type each of the wipes are . I only able to identify is the flannel with print. I want to order more but not sure which one .

They are just as youíd expect. Great selection to purchase if youíre new, helped me make my choice for a full kit.
With a baby, washing them regularly is no extra job.. Iíve been keeping used ones til the end of the day then hand washing them together and drying them over night. Unless Iím putting a wash on the next morning on a timer then Iíll throw them in with that.

Good to have an idea of what you lile

I wasn't sure in which wipes to invest and this mixture was great. I loved the flannel ones and the terry ones as they provide better grip for wiping solids from bums, hands and faces.

Trial set feedback
Friday, 23 February 2018  |

Hi there

I received the trial pack in good time - however the five different types of fabric are not labelled clearly and so it's quite difficult to be able to make a decision about the one we prefer! Any guidance on working out which is which would be appreciated...

Thanks
Caroline

Response:

Thanks Caroline, each wipe should have a label with it's composition.
The Bamboo velour (off white or colours) should have 70% bamboo/30% cotton on the label
The cotton wipes (premium/regular) should have 100% cotton on the label#
The microfibre wipes are pale in colour and squarer than the others
The bamboo/minky are patterned on one side and plain on the other.
If you have the flannel wipes in there they are larger than the others, in white with coloured edging.

Good test pack

Nice to try all the different fabrics before purchasing but as a busy Mum it would have been amazing if you had clearly labelled each option. I would have put an order in straight away if I had been able to quickly identify each wipe.

Sturdy, great design

The boxes are well made and sturdy. Like the colour coding of the kits with the essential oils. Ordered the pink box as a variation for reusable sanitary products. Love the design feature of the hooks with the net so you donít need to get your hands in the soaking solution.

Great first impressions

I have wanted to try non disposables for a long time to cut the amount of throwaway plastic I am using. I have used these for the first time and am really pleasantly surprised...they are beautifully soft and they clean up really well with no staining so far (I purchased a mucky box to soak them in before washing) They do move about slightly but will try tighter fitting underwear as suggested in other reviews...no leakages so far as theyíre super absorbent. Will definitely try the thinner cotton ones for towards the end of my period.

Chuck away your Tena lights!

As someone who wears a "just in case" incontinence pad, I was getting really tired of buying pads, wearing them and putting them into landfill, especially when 99% of the time I hadn't needed to wear one anyway.
I bought some of these initially to wear around the house, at least I thought I will be reducing the amount I use. Now I wear them everywhere!

I ordered three pairs and I'm going back for more...... I suffer with mehorragia and it usually looks like a horror movie even with two maternity pads but these little beauts kept everything in overnight no stress!
Definitely buying more.
My only criticisism is that they sit quite low..... I'd like them to come up slightly higher for all out Bridget Jones comfort!

A great way to reduce your plastic use.

I tried washable sanitary pads 15 years ago but found they just didnít keep me dry. These Cheekywipes pads are a whole different thing! I bought two to try and now Iíve ordered another ten; I wonít be going back to disposable pads. Theyíre comfortable, absorbent and donít slide around (as long as you follow the advice about the nap on the back). Highly recommended x

I bought the starter pack and was so impressed i bought some more day pads for me and my sister. Really well made, comfortable and so absorbant. They wash really well too. I shall never go back to disposables.

Loving it

Iíve only had these wipes for a week but as a busy childminder they have impacted well in my setting. As you can imagine lots of runny noses and bum changes needed attending to and I love the feel and smell of these. Iíve also asked the children and they prefer them too. Much nicer than wet wipes. Iíve even used them to wipe down hard surfaces in the kitchen. Iíll definitely be carrying on.

Fantastic value

I have tried cloth pads on and off over the years and never really took to them. I mostly use a cup but sometimes like the security of having a pad too. These are so comfortable and stay in place really well (but snug fitting pants are a must!). I think they are terrific value and my order came super fast.

Great product!

We have been pleasantly surprised by how easy the switch has been and like that you can still use them out and about with the travel bags. You do need to be pretty disciplined and organised with keeping supplies fresh and would definitely suggest a second pack of wipes so you have plenty for wash rotation. We wash them on a 60 degree wash so they are totally clean and have no issue then using bum wipes for hands and face. Although there is the option to have white ones for hands and face and colours for the bum, comes down to personal preference, but they genuinely clean and fresh. We really started looking at this option because my youngest has really sore nappy rash from every wipe brand we've tried leading to us spending a small fortune on sudocream and other such products. Since using cloth wipes its been a miracle for his bum as its no longer red and sore. I love how usually 1 wipe does the job whereas you need to use some 5-6 packet wipes and we were going through them pack after pack with 2 boys! So bottom line buy them we wouldn't go back now having changed across.

Never looked back!!
Friday, 31 August 2018  |  Becky

I bought these around 18 months ago and they still look like new. I originally ran on night pads and liners which was fine. These cope with 'flooding' amazingly well, I have never had a leak. They haven't stained and they are not gross at all. I was sceptical to read that period pain can be reduced by switching from disposables but its true. My flow is a little lighter and doesn't last as long. I just chuck them in with the washing or with the nappies. I now have a few day pads for the last day, purely because they looked pretty and I'm slightly addicted. They are so soft and don't move around in my underwear even thought they're a shiney material. I use the liners every day just chucking them in the normal wash and they are still like new. Granted they're slightly more grey than white on top but I can deal with that. These are by far some of the cheapest CSP out there. I have tried slightly cheaper but these are made so much better. The quality is untouchable.
