Pretty lace-topped period pants.  Wear with confidence, avoid period dramas with 4 layers of protection, a leak free, eco alternative to tampons or sanitary pads.

'Pretty'

Definition: 'Looking good in every way'

We've reclaimed the word 'pretty'.  So often it's insipid, boring, blah, blah, blah.  We like the urban dictionary definition, that it's a more polite way of saying 'beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, hot, sexy'.  We think these lace topped period pants are just that.  There's no need to be boring just because you're on your period.  That little bit of lace says 'painting your toenails and having a long bath'.  But, crucially, these period pants do the job that they're supposed to.  Mid-rise with a lace top, they have 4 layers of protection to the front and rear waistband.  Perfect to wear with confidence day or night.    And at the end of the day, having confidence is a truly beautiful thing, whether you're at school, in a hospital, a ski-slope or a boardroom.

These are true to UK size, so go with your regular size in underwear

Composition

The body of the pant is nylon and elastane (75%/25%) and the lining and the middle layer are cotton/elastane (95%/5%).  With a waterproofed outer layer ( (Oeko-Tex certified TPU) ), you've got maximum protection but also keeping you comfortable:

  • moisture wicking
  • highlyabsorbent
  • never leak
  • breathable fabric

As with any sanitary option, if you're using these as your only means of protection, we recommend that you change them during the day, just like you would a pad or tampon.

These pants can only be returned/exchanged if they have been tried on OVER underwear and come back in their original packaging.

Machine wash cold (maximum 30 degrees) and then hang dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener or put them in the tumble dryer. This will affect the absorbency and can cause the elastic in the lace to fray

Living for these period pants!
Thursday, 30 January 2020  |

Iíd heard reviews about the more expensive period pants that came in at roughly £30 a pair and thought Iíd like to try them BUT these pants from Cheeky Wipes read the same and meant three pairs for £31.50 (canít go wrong really) and filled in the quiz and was advised these in a 12-14. They arrived quickly and I love them already!

I usually wear a size 10-12 granny pant from George@Asda (because I know how to turn off my husband in seconds 🤣 and these are the same size And just as comfy.

I worried with the low lace top my mum-tum would fold over but actually didnít happen and when I went for a hilly dog walk in baggy leggings there was no wedgie, sweating and musty odour. Today my flow has been light (suddenly find my charming monthly friend has become very unpredictable of late) and I can see the tell-take signs of blood when I look in the pants BUT I donít feel it. Iím not sure about having a heavy flow but today Iíve been wearing them all day in comfort. Was a bit worried as the outside felt like bikini bottoms so thought theyíd move around against my trousers but Iíve found them so comfy and like my regular granny pants. Iíd like to try the higher rise version when theyíre in stock but I do like them and would recommend for anyone with an unpredictable or light flow

Ordered for daughter

Ordered these for my daughter for when her period starts. Slim 12 year old. Size 4-6 fits perfectly. Will update when she has use for them, and order more if successful.

Good idea

I have been using cloth pads for a few years now very comfortable, not yet tried this brand of pads, however the lace period pants are very nice and comfortable, so far no leaks =) the only bad point is Iv only used these twice. After the first wash in a mesh bag in the washing machine they lace and elastic have started to unravel, very disheartening for the price...

Life changer!
Sunday, 26 January 2020  |

I initially brought 3 pairs, I now have 6! These are really comfy for the first few days/overnight of your period. I find I need 4 pairs first day and 2 pairs second day, so therefore 6pairs sees me through the first two days when you feel at your worst and yet makes you feel pretty! They are very absorbent and you can tell when you need to change them, for me and my period at the beginning itís 5hrs. I then when wear ďfeeling sportyĒ for the rest of my period. Size true to your everyday pants.

Bought these pants as I get very sore using pads.
I am heavier since having children, and although they are very comfortable and didn't leak at all, I didn't feel they were good for all night. I woke up feeling quite wet. Definitely will get more for lighter days and would change more regularly. Was just hoping to use them at night but I took them off half way through the night.

Nice design. Good absorbency.

I like the design of this underwear. The absorbency was good but I won't use this alone on a heavy day.

Life changing

Iíve been wanting to try these out for months and Iím so glad I finally bought some!

The price of these is a lot better than others on the market, and the quality is great. They arrived within about a week of ordering, just in time to be tested for the first time.

Iím a size 10, normally buying size 10 or sometimes 10-12 if something looks small. After reading lots of reviews I decided to get size 8-10, they looked massive when taking out the packaging but theyíre a perfect fit.

I bought 6 pairs of the pretty ones which has worked great. For the first two days I wore 2 pairs during the day and one over night. Each night I hand washed (they can be machine washed if youíd prefer, but not tumble dried) the 2 worn during the day and put on the radiator to dry, they were fully dry by the next afternoon. I wore 1 pair a day for the remaining days. They cover from the front all the way to the back, so there was no leaks no matter how much I fidgeted during the night.

The material is like swimwear on the outside and obviously slightly padded (to be able to do the job) however after wearing them for a few hours you become used to how they feel and forget youíre wearing anything different. They looked just like normal underwear under clothes, I wore leggings most days and they went completely undetected. They never felt wet or felt as if they were leaking, everything was absorbed pretty much straight away, and were much cleaner than any pad used previously.

Honestly Iíve never had such a worry free and comfortable period.

Better than disposable
Friday, 29 November 2019  |

I've beŤn using disposable incontinence pants to soak up roughly 4 tablespoons per day of thick blood, urine, and loose fecal matter caused by bowel cancer. After about 2 years trying every brand and thickness and getting nappy rash several times, I haven't found anything that I'm happy with and just can't ignore how wasteful it is.
I tried an all-cotton Chinese brand before these, which were grossly undersized, and then extensive research lead me here. After a day where I evacuated my bowels far more than normal, I wanted to be sure that I wouldn't have a damp night as usually follows. The only wetness is a surface layer that vanishes almost before I see it if I press my thumb firmly into the gusset.
I usually take a size 14, so ordered both sides of that plus a bigger pair for padding. The 12-14 leave a tiny gap at the front inside leg unless fitted carefully, but are otherwise snug without being restrictive.
As soon as I unfolded these, it was clear that they are quality. They look a bit flimsy on the site, and so I was expecting translucency and that itchy papery lace that shreds easily. The areas without extra layers could JUST admit a little light very close to, but not enough to show anything. The lace is soft and slightly yielding, and the negative ease ensures that they'll hold shape.
I put these on just before bed, and must have had the volume of fluid that would usually go through the thickest part of disposables and waterfall out. I have a slight sense of dampness, but these have held it all. So glad I stocked up immediately

Perfect!
Monday, 25 November 2019  |

These fit great, feel comfy and I feel secure that they will not leak. I was worried at first and carried spare towels with me, but soon realised that they were not required and these were all I need. I have just ordered more to make sure I have enough for my whole period.

comfortable and confidence inspiring
Sunday, 24 November 2019  |

With the unpredictable periods of later years and wanting to reduce my sanitary waste I've invested in these and use them together with a menstrual cup. I'm a complete convert, they fit well, are incredibly comfortable and have - literally- saved my arse on a couple of 'flooding' instances...one of which was during a yoga class so I was particularly impressed! Also no more sleeping on towels. These are just as good as more expensive pants and easy to care for. Wish I'd found them sooner!
