Fantastic makeup wipes
Sunday, 14 January 2018  |

I love these makeup wipes, They are larger than cotton pads, which makes them more effective, they’re so soft unlike the scratchy disposable wipes. They work really well with coconut oil to remove all makeup including mascara. Give them a rinse after use, pop in the wash and they come out as good as new. Would highly recommend to anyone taking steps to become more eco friendly!

Fantastic cotton wool alternative!
Friday, 8 December 2017  |

These are a brilliant cotton wool alternative, I use one pad with make up remover, then wet the pad and use it with my cleanser as a flannel alternative too. One pad a day, more efficient than cotton wool, feels nicer on my skin and helps reduce landfill. I'm telling all my friends about these!

Brilliant

I honestly didn’t think these would perform as well as a simple cotton wool pad but they did. My eye makeup remover worked just as well, if not better with these pads. I delayed in writing a review because I thought what if they don’t wash... well, they do. I used an in wash stain remover & they came out clean as new (& I’m a fan of a dark smoky eye!) Bye bye cotton wool & hello sustainability.

Wiping my face on clouds
Sunday, 26 November 2017  |

Once you remove your makeup with one of these for the first time, you will wonder why on Earth your whole life you've been using scratchy cotton pads or face wipes. The minky side is so unbelievably soft, there is no dragging on the delicate eye skin at all and it just feels incredible. They've washed really well too. I highly recommend these.

In an attempt to produce less waste I thought I would giv these a try- I love them! Larger than expected but very soft and comfortable to use. Much better than cotton wool at removing stubborn mascara! I've bought my daughter some too.

Absolutely gorgeous and super soft
Thursday, 16 November 2017  |

Switched the these super soft Minky Bamboo rainbow pattern make up pads. Couldn’t be happier. Love them and feels good for the environment. So easy to just forget about our waste and use disposable make up pads. But I started realising I was creating too much landfill. These pads feel luxurious and wash perfectly.

Ok normally you can find where I have been apparently by a trail of hair ties and cotton pads BUT NO MORE!
I normally use cotton pads for cleanser but having had cheeky wipes products before thought will give these a go. Instead of using 5-7 cotton pads I only need one of these. They are a little large as previously mentioned but more the better as it means I only use 1. Feels great on the skin and actually feels cleansed will be buying more when I inevitably lose some of these. No going back to disposable ones now

Makeup wipes
Monday, 30 October 2017  |

I like the softness of the wipes and they seem to clean really well. However, they are much larger than I imagined they would be. I use them to apply toner and end up using a lot more than I would have with a disposable cotton pad. I fold the cloth over to make it smaller, but it makes it awkward to use. A wipe half the size would be better.

Amazing! So pleased I tried!
Saturday, 16 December 2017  |  Kimberley

I love these wipes!!! I was getting grumpy with the fact that disposable wipes came out three at a time, they smelled of chemicals and when you get to the bottom half of the packet you have to fight to get a wipe out and then they all come out together. What a massive waste of money the disposables are!

We use reusable nappies and when I was going to buy reuseable wipes when I was pregnant my friends accused me of going a step too far and boarding the hippy train! Well I ended up having two nappy bins; one for my disposable wipes and one for my reusable nappies. Utter nonsense! So however ‘on board the train’ I was getting I decided to give the wipes a go. Totally amazing! Easy peasy! They smell divine, I did buy the full kit as I like the idea of presoaking the dirty wipes rather than them sitting in the nappy bin and I chuck them in the wash with my nappies. Amazing! Brilliant! Fast service! I’m a complete convert and will never look back, not to mention the fact that you get to help save the planet too!! I intend to buy more when I’m weaning!
Thank you cheeky wipes!!!!

CSP convert!
Friday, 15 December 2017  |  Joanna

Having used cheeky wipes and cloth nappies on my daughter for the last 12 months, it was an obvious step to look into CSP when my period finally returned. I found disposable pads made me feel quite sore and uncomfortable, due to my episiotomy scar. So after lots of research, I decided to take the plunge and order a full CSP kit, plus 5 extra night time pads (so I'd feel secure on my heavier days). For the first time ever, I was looking forward to my period coming, so I could try them out! I was expecting them to feel very different to wearing a disposable pad, but actually they felt quite similar, but without the itch and smell. I was surprised to find I didn't feel desperate for a shower each morning, like I normally would during my period. There was one moment at work, I became a bit worried the pad was showing through my trousers, as it's a bit bulkier than an equivalent disposable, but after a quick check in the mirror, all was well! Like other reviews warned me, there was a bit of movement with the pad, but with a bit of experimenting with underwear, turning pads around and wearing tights/leggings, it wasn't a big issue, and I had hardly any leakage on my underwear and none on my clothes, which I'm not used to! There was one day where I was walking around town, and found the longer night pads, gave me more security, regarding movement, as they're longer. I chose the bamboo top, as I thought I'd prefer that to fleece against my skin, although I was a bit concerned it might feel damp against me - I didn't ever feel wet, although during my heaviest days, I was sometimes aware it needed changing, which is no different to my experience of disposables. I found the soaking system in the mucky box very easy and not disgusting at all. My husband didn't question the appearance of the pink mucky box, alongside our green one, and it feels discrete enough to leave out even when we had visitors. I had a slightly lighter period than usual (not sure if this was a result of using cloth?), and found with 7 night pads, 6 day pads and 2 liners, I needed to wash after the first 2 days, when I'm heaviest. I think I'd find 4 or 5 more pads useful, as it was a struggle to get them to dry quick enough, even with the dehumidifier on. I was surprised not to have to do another wash, but found the pads can definitely be worn longer than disposable ones. I'm definitely a cloth convert, and can't see I'll ever be returning to disposables. Thank you for a brilliant product!

Massive. Baby soft. Smell beautiful!
Monday, 6 November 2017  |  Emma

Bought these as just switched to cloth nappies and disposable wipes were actually more fuss. I’d had a selection of wipes to borrow from our local nappy library and they did the job, but I was so excited when these arrived!

They are HUGE! I am sure one alone will easily cope with a significant poo job or some serious pasta sauce decoration, leaving plenty for freshening up & the rest of the time. I have no concerns about getting mucky fingers.

They are also super soft (we have bamboo velour) and smell beautiful with the oils (so much so I think I can use a little less and make it last longer). We also received some free minkee/bamboo ones with cute little designs on them. They’re even softer (I can’t stop stroking them!) so we decided to keep them dry and use for face freshens with a little tap water and ‘drying off’ when bottom air time is not easy (e.g. when we’re out and about). However the soaking box has enough room for the extras if we did want them wet!

We had a couple of small hiccups with ordering - a missing email and some free wipes left off- but the customer service team were absolutely fantastic and got things sorted super fast. I always feel the mark of a good company is not being faultless but in being experts at fixing issues, and the team were fantastic.

Thank you for a lovely product. Highly recommended!

I'm a convert
Monday, 16 October 2017  |  Helen

I'll admit to being sceptical about cloth pads, but after years of irritation and painful rashes caused by disposables I decided to give them a go. I went for the full kit as it gave me a mixture of pads, some cotton, some minky and with different lengths and so far I'm very impressed. No leaks at all and they're so comfortable. I don't even know I have them on! The free wipes that came with the pads are lovely and soft and the mucky box is great for discretely soaking used pads. I would definitely recommend and will be buying again.

Fabulous make up removal pads
Wednesday, 4 October 2017  |  Maya

I absolutely love these colourful make up removal pads. I chose the gorgeous rainbow pattern ones. I have been using them for a couple of weeks and really impressed with how well they remove my makeup. I'm trying to slowly start using reusable items for myself and family so thought this would be a good place to start. I would normally use at least 10 cotton wool pads in a day for my daily routine, whereas now one cheeky wipes removal pads will do! I love the two textures to the pads, the patterned side it so soft and great for the eye area, takes mascara off no problem and the other side is good for giving your face a good scrub! I'm converted! x

Toilet Paper Alternative Family Cloth Wipes Kit
Thursday, 21 September 2017  |  Ella

I was extremely suspicious that this would be gross, but after eharing about it on radio 2, my husband wouldn't stop talking about it, and since we're planning to use reusable nappies for our hopefully-arriving-soon baby I thought we'd give it a go. We love them, they feels great and make the bathroom smell good, Would recommend to give it a go, especially after seeing that article in the BBC news about the 250 fat berg of toilet paper they found under London!

Glad I made the move
Friday, 1 September 2017  |  Lauri

I was definitely one of those ewww! people. But having started using the sani pads recently (and wished I had found them years ago) and then hearing you on Radio 2 I thought I'd give the toilet set a go. It took a while for me to unpack the parcel and start to use it (still at the squeamish stage) but everything is so well thought out, even the way the mesh bag fits into the mucky box and the smells from the added scented oils are great and so refreshing. So now I can say I have used it for a number 2 as well as number 1 and am delighted with how easy it is and how fresh I feel. There's nothing more annoying than paper that tears when you're wiping, and this eliminates all that. I am new to this and haven't washed them yet but it all seems to be going very smoothly. I have now ordered some of the rainbow cloths to replace my cleaning cloths and kitchen paper. Final step is to convince the rest of the family! So glad I found this product!

So pleased with these !
Thursday, 3 August 2017  |  Rebecca

I am so impressed with the quality of these wipes. Trying to talk my husband round to using reusable wipes (already use reusable nappies) was a bit tricky but once they arrived and I showed him how they work he thinks they're fantastic ! I bought the full kit and additional wipes to keep in the bathroom as facial wipes. I keep a wet bag in my handbag for out and about, a box in the kids room and facial wipes in the bathroom. I didn't realise how well 25 wipes would do (I bought a total of 65) so I've been able to keep some aside for when our third baby arrives. 25 wipes is all I have had to use for my two messy Boys, I wash them every other day to freshen them up but even then I don't always go through the whole 25 as even for the stinkiest bums I only need one !! I've had some real messy ones and no 'pong' from them after washing and the mucky box stops them from stinking out the house perfectly, in fact the mucky box doesn't even smell when I open it that's to the essential oils. I've been raving about these to everyone even for facial wipes for those without children. Once baby #3 is born I also plan to try the reusable feminine products. Using these is so easy (and cheap!). I was spending a fortune on water wipes. Very long review I know but these really are fantastic !

No more toilet roll!
Thursday, 13 July 2017  |  Ruth

Well initially I was a little grossed out by the idea of this but had recently bought some cloth sanitary pads (sorry, not CW) elsewhere as I was fed up of buying so many TENA let alone filling the bin and landfill with them, I was so pleasantly surprised at how nice they were and my friend had been raving about how great CW were for her kids that I decided I would take the adult version plunge! Toilet Paper Alternative. I've had to pack them away for a few weeks while my bathroom is being renovated (I didn't want my lovely wipes and boxes to be covered in dust, muck and dirt!) and I miss them so much!!! I can honestly say once the bath room is finished there will be no going back! You feel so fresh! You only need one wipe per visit whether you're doing a "number 2" or just a pee. Not having to buy loads of toilet paper and flushing so much down the toilet is just a bonus!! Like some others have commented the mucky box is a bit small for using as a toilet paper alternative but I love the system and that the mucky box even has a scent too! I might look into the idea that others have suggested of a pedal bin with the mesh bag as the bag is much bigger than the mucky wipes box. I love all the different scents and bought them all to try. I also got some flannel wipes for hands and face and use the rose and geranium oil with a bit of the coconut oil for them. Lovely! I've got dermatitis on my hands and they just love the coconut oil!
Hurry up workmen, I want to use my cheeky wipes again!

An item every woman should have (several of, actually)

In my search of trying to be more eco-friendly I am so glad I came across these pads! If anything I should have bought more, and I certainly will. Very comfortable, do the job and easy to wash. Perfect!
