<Drum Roll Please....>  Introducing our new ORGANIC extra virgin coconut oil!

I'll be quite honest, I've had a jar of coconut oil in my cupboard for ages and really didn't see what all the fuss is about.  It was OK, but didn't smell of much and didn't make much difference to my skin.

Then the lovely Claire Sheridan (our customer service manager) mentioned that she had tried the organic extra virgin coconut oil and really rated it...so we bought some, tried it and LOVED it!  Unlike refined coconut oil, the organic extra virgin coconut oil has a fantastic coconutty smell which is a sign that all the goodness hasn't been refined out! Helen (Boss) now uses it as a daily post-shower body moisturiser - it soaks in quickly, leaving her dry eczema prone skin feeling soft and smelling great, without irritation.

This fantastic product fits with our 'know exactly what you are putting on your skin' ethos.  Our organic extra virgin coconut oil is good enough to eat! Available in a 50ml travel size for £2.49 or 500ml value pack for £9.49 at home. We call this our wonder oil as it has so many uses:

Use alongside your favourite wipes solution, simply melt a teaspoonful in a cup in the microwave (or pour boiling water over it), then add to your fresh wipes box as usual alongside your fresh wipes solution.  Sloosh it around and then add your wipes to make extra moisturising cloth wipes - yummy!

We've already mentioned that it makes a great body moisturiser for both big and little folk, but it also makes a fantastic lip or nipple balm, if you have any chapping or chafing in those areas.

It is also a brilliant 'cloth nappy safe' baby bum barrier cream and as it is antibacterial also it can help heal mild nappy rash irritation.  Obviously, you can use it on all of your baby as a baby moisturiser, not just their bum, so if you are into baby massage oil, this would work a treat.

And as if that wasn't enough, it makes fantastic chocolate when mixed with cocoa powder and honey....

Used coconut oil after shower goes on smoothly and smells great, my dry patches of skin look less red after one application. I use a teaspoon to get the mixture out and let it melt in my hands, then apply. Perhaps a plastic cheeky wipes spoon would help to scoop the mixture out.
