Caring for your Microfibre Hands & Faces Wipes

Microfibre wipes for face

It's brilliant that more and more of you are trying our micro-fibre wipes for hands & faces.

They have been the wipe of choice at Cheeky Wipes HQ at dinner and breakfast times as they are just SO soft!

However it's worth pointing out that you might need to tweak your soaking routine a little bit for the microfibre wipes....here's a few tips:

Increase amount of soaking solution

If you're used to making up terry wipes with 250 ml water and 4 - 5 drops of oil, you'll probably need to adjust this for the microfibre wipes.

Because they're much more absorbent you might need as much as 400ml water and 6 - 7 drops of oil.  Best to make them too wet and then tip away any excess than have them not wet enough.

Rinse off any 'bits'

Because of the nature of microfibre, the little hooks that make it so effective at cleaning will also trap fibres which is why we don't recommend them for poo. If you're using them to clean a particularly mucky baby (porridge, weetabix and banana are all pretty hard-core for mess!) then simply rinse the wipe under the cold tap to remove any bits.

The wipes will wash really well if you do this and it will stop food getting on to your clothes in the washing machine - porridge is especially bad for this! We'd love to hear what you think of the microfibre wipes if you're using them already, feel free to leave us a comment!
