If you're looking for a wipe which is larger and more similar to a disposable wipe, then this is the wipe for you.

At 21cm x 21cm, they are bigger than our standard wipes, but made from a finer, more delicate cotton fabric. They still wipe brilliantly, but maybe not quite as much 'grab' as our terry wipes for poo.

Think about your favourite flannelette PJ's, these just get softer and softer on each wash which means they are great for bigger bums as a toilet paper alternative.

At 21cm x 21cm, these wipes are slightly larger than our standard wipes, you can still fit up to 25 in your fresh wipes box at a time, with just a bit of gentle 'smushing'.

Flannel wipes
Monday, 1 July 2019  |

I purchased these to use in place of toilet paper. Overall I'm pleased with them and have found them to be a good substitute. However, the finishing is not very good on some of the flannels and the coloured edging is coming undone.

Great alternative for hands and faces
Saturday, 4 August 2018  |

Love these. Really soft, haven't stained and wash well. Use them to wipe baby's hands and face after meal times instead of baby wipes. Great - would highly recommend.

Great

These are great wipes. Wash well and very soft. They messed up my order and didn't send it all straight away but fixed the problem so quickly I was suprised how fast they sorted it over the weekend. I wanted to just leave a review saying that these are a great product but the service is great too.

Perfect for older kids too!
Tuesday, 22 May 2018  |

Having used Cheeky wipes for my kids when they were babies, I recently upgraded to the flannel wipes. These are perfect for my, now older, kids and all of us in the family to use as napkins and hankies! Beautiful soft and just the right size. I keep them in the kitchen where the kitchen roll used to be.

Lovely soft wipes

These wipes are lovely and soft; they work wonderfully well for both faces and bums. Lovely products; a softer choice than the terry cotton ones we had before

Finer than the average
Sunday, 4 February 2018  |

These thin wipes are a little bigger than the terry or minky wipes and just right for tiny babies, nose wipes and kitchen use. They softened nicely in the wash and the splash if bright colour on the stitching is a bonus.

Not great as a toilet paper alternative
Wednesday, 31 January 2018  |

Ordered this kit which used to come with cotton Terry wipes that I use on my son and love. However it now comes with cotton flannel which seems to stain more easily and after one wash feels like it is starting to disintegrate. I also have to fold them up before putting in the box. Would probably work better as face cloths or kitchen wipes. Have written in to try and get them replaced with cotton Terry, I hear the customer service is good so here's hoping

Response:

Hi there Rebecca, I'm sorry that you aren't getting on with your flannel wipes. They're exactly the same flannel wipes as we have had in stock for many years, but we ran out of stock for 6 months and replaced them with the cotton terry. The reason we use the cotton terry for babies, is that there is generally more poo all over a babies bum which needs the traction of the cotton terry wipe to remove it. This isn't the case for adult bums, especially for ladies who use the wipes most frequently after weeing, by comparison the cotton terry can feel quite rough on sensitive lady parts. Well on my sensitive lady parts anyway!

We've used these wipes at home for 3 years and they are our preferred wipe for adult bums. They are thinner, but just get softer with each wash, they won't disintegrate but of course if they do we will happily replace them free of charge as they would be faulty.

The reason they are slightly larger than the standard wipes is again because they are for adult bums and it's not too much of a hardship to fold or just squish into the fresh box.

We can't offer a refund as they have been used and they aren't faulty, but as a gesture of goodwill we can offer you 50% off some replacement wipes and I have emailed you as such.

Good alternative to kitchen roll
Monday, 5 June 2017  |

Using these an alternative to kitchen roll which is working really well. Great size, quick drying etc. The only negative is the colour from the thread on edges of the red wipes has run which means a lot of wipes are pink tinged in places and sadly some other items in the wash have been marked by transfer of the red dye during washing

So easy to make the switch!
Monday, 15 July 2019  |  Rachel

I am so glad I got the full kit with a mix of cotton and minkey style pads, it gave me a chance to experiment with the different options and decide which worked best for me. It also made moving over to reusables so easy as I had everything I needed on hand to get going, At the same time I also purchased a double wet bag and a 3 pack of period pants. Having only used these items for one period so far, I did still have to use a disposable pad because I hadn't factored in the washing and drying time, but I'll know better next time. So far, I have washed on a separate cold wash and they've all come up perfectly clean and ready to go again. The t-tree drops to go in the mucky box is a nice touch and helps keep everything fresh smelling between washes. My only struggle with the move to reusable sanitary products was being able to find somewhere discrete to rinse pads when not at home, when I wasn’t able to do this I dropped the pad in my travel bag anyway and made sure to give it a really good soak, and some stain remover, as soon as possible and they’ve been fine.

Life changing!
Thursday, 20 June 2019  |  Charlotte

Well, I'm never going back to single use menstrual products. Ever. I bought these in a size 6-8 (I'm a really borderline 8-10) and although they said 4-6 on the underwear when they arrived, they fit perfectly - so definirely follow the advice and go a size down.
They do feel like bikini bottoms, but that's fine! They're not heavy in anyway, and in absolutely no way are they detectable under gym clothes, let alone jeans.

Leaks?! What leaks? I put these to the ultimate test: I wore one pair, without taking any spare, to work on my heaviest day. This meant I wore the pair from 6am until I got home and showered that night at 8.30pm. On my heaviest day. Absolutely no smell, absolutely no leak. Yes, by about 6.45pm they felt abit wet, but not really uncomfortable, I was just aware they needed changing. But I'd already gone over the recommended 12 hours by then anyway!

One thing i would say is don't wash these on a cold wash - I washed them separately in a cold wash halfway through my cycle (I didnt buy enough to cover my whole week as I was meant to be a test) and they did stain. When I put them through with the rest of y2k washing on a 30c wash, they came out good as new. But like others have said, they do take a while to dry. Not a problem in the summer, but as they don't tumble dry, you'd need a full set to get you through the week in the winter as they do take a couple days to air dry.

All in all, I recommend them to anyone who will listen! Comfortable, cheaper than competitors, do exactly what they promise to, and no more menstrual products going to landfill! Result!

Great product

I bought these for my daughter who is 13 and was finding pads awful and tampons impossible. She lives them! No leaks, no slipping or sticking or discomfort. Definitely follow the advice to size down. She's a 6-8 and the 4-6 fit perfectly. They wash well and dry fairly quickly. I'll definitely be buying here some more so that I don't have to be quite so on it with the wash cycle.

Great product

Great product, great price. The advice to size down is good. I'm a 16-18 usually but bought the 14-16 which fit perfectly. My periods are not mega heavy but I found I wanted to change them in the middle of the first day. After that one pair at night and one in the day worked fine. I only bought three pairs to try but I'll be buying more so I don't have to be quite so on top of the wash cycle. Best of all, I haven't thrown anything away. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Liberating

These pants are so comfortable, absorbent and practical. I was nervous at first but needn’t have been. I even did a half marathon in them! For a medium flow there was no leaking and any days I wanted a little reassurance I used the cheeky wipes ultrapad cotton cloth sanitary pads instead.
My skin is grateful and the planet too.
Only heads up would be that the absorbent layers run all the way down the back of the pants to the gusset so if you are a ‘front bleeder’ it potentially could stop a little short for you.

Love them, changed my period!
Tuesday, 21 May 2019  |  Sara

I Love them! Felt so safe wearing them the days, and especially nights leading up-to my period (especially as it came early!), and even more so during the first few days. I had them backing up a pad at first, which was great as I tend to have spillover at sides. Then at the end I only used them. I prefer these lace top ones to the Sport style as it covers more and a full absorbency layer.

The quality is excellent. I did not leak, and they are comfortable and don’t feel wet. When I felt them the gusset being cold, I changed them for a fresh pair.

They have changed my experience of having my period hugely!

For product development, I'd love a high waist version

Thank you Cheeky Wipes!

Absorbs a LOT and no chafing!
Tuesday, 21 May 2019  |  Sara

I bought the 5-pack BAMBOO  Blue Dragonfly,  Day Pad and Night Pad, (5 each). I have used them once.

For disposable, I go through 10 ultra night pads, an 12 day pads during my 5 day period, although not always, even then I have had issues of leakage.

However, for my whole period this time I used 2 (!) night pads, 2 day pads, backed up with period pants and the last two days only had the period pants. Although I stayed home most of these days and as such could run to the loo if I felt the "gushing", this is way beyond my expectations!

Instead of going through packets of disposables, I used 2 night pads, 2 day pads, 3 lace and 3 sport pants. I am very much impressed!

Beautifully little clouds to clean your face
Friday, 17 May 2019  |  Abigail

These pretty. Reusable pads are gentle but strong and when used with coconut oil quickly make your make up melt away .They are easy. To wash and make you wonder why you have ever used anything disposable on your face. My daughter says they are like little clouds to clean your face !

Great pads and more absorbent than expected
Thursday, 16 May 2019  |  Sarah

I'm a new convert to washable pads and have found these day pads great. Easy to rinse out with cold water, soak in the mucky box with a few drops of oil then machine wash on 30. No stains at all. Brilliant!
