Nice, fresh feeling!
Monday, 6 August 2018  |

I wanted to move away from the ďflushableĒ wet toilet wipes I had been using to cut down on harmful single use plastics. I thought it might be a bit of a faff, but after using them for a week, I am quite pleased with how itís gone. Iím using the white terry towel cloths that came with the kit and I like how clean they leave me feeling. Washing them isnít difficult and they were lovely and fresh after being out to dry on the line. I wouldnít go back to single use wipes.

Still early days
Saturday, 9 June 2018  |

I love the wipes. Very easy to use. My first wash wasnít a great success. I washed with my towels at 50 in the mesh bag. Two of the wipes came out not as pristine as I was expecting. I had to use bleach (not environmentally friendly) and some stain remover on them before putting back through the wash again. Iím going to try the next batch loose in the wash , maybe with fewer towels. I love the idea and the product and they are lovely to use, but there is a degree of ďeuchĒ factor if they are not whiter than white when you hang them out on the line.

So easy, who knew!

This is the best bathroom decision I've made for years, so much more comfortable to use than paper toilet paper, my 7 year old loves them and so easy to use, lovely smell with oils and I just pop them in with my normal wash, great product

Glad I took leap!

Was a bit of a leap of faith trying these but am now delighted I did! Once you have system going, refilling fresh wipes and popping used wipes in to wash every couple days its very straightforward. I love the fresh scent of the essential oils used to keep both boxes fresh and feel really clean using them as well. My bathroom is now loo roll free (but will keep a couple in store for guests!) Once I'd got this kit I also got organised with buying an ecoegg to replace my normal washing powder and keep my laundry routine cost-effective. A very happy new customer, can't recommend the cheeky wipes team recommend highly enough (great speedy dispatch and delivery too)!

Easy to use
Thursday, 15 March 2018  |

Glad we gave this a go, feels much cleaner after use and much gentler on the skin. Wipes are plenty big enough much more so than traditional toilet paper. The system makes it easy to handle washing and set up. Another why wasn't I doing this forever moment!

Better Bumf.

Excellent product.

Excellent backup on any question(?) I threw at them before & after purchase; which the instruction, however good, did not cover.

I can NOW state that, if I need any more, they'll be the smaller towelling ones rather than the Handkerchief sized ones though.

Sorry if this is a repeat - been out shopping; blame galloping senility.

I wouldnít go back to using toilet paper now and my husband who was very sceptical about the change feels the same.

I love these!! So much better than loo roll...It's like having a wash every time I use the loo. Easy to launder them and always fresh. Would recommend

Useful, not ideal
Friday, 10 November 2017  |

One thing mot right on opening this product, was that my messy box was badly scratched across the lid. Worse, inside one of the little claps has broken off, so the gauze bag cannot be held in place.
That aside, the various towels and wipes, the oils and gauze bag all seem to be very good quality. I am not sure if I will ever really use them to replace toilet paper, but it is good to have such a good back up option! I think I'd prefer dark colours rather than white, as otherwise it will mean the cloths will become stained and off white after just a few uses, if bleach isn't used. (Which would defeat the whole point of using these for environmental reasons).

Cheeky Wipes Starter Kit
Monday, 23 October 2017  |

I also heard about them on Radio 2 on the Vanessa Feltz interview. As everyone else, I was a bit dubious about the hygiene side of this, but no worries at all! The oils smell beautiful and so does my bathroom! I feel lovely and clean as well, and am helping to save the planet! A good idea in a review that I read before I bought the Cheeky Wipes was to buy an extra muslin bag so that I always have the Mucky Box ready to use.
We always used terry towelling nappies for our children, so I totally agree with this principle. There is such a problem with plastic disposal now. We used to use moist toilet tissues and as they said "flushable" on the packet, we used to put them down the loo. Now we know better! Until they stop selling them, people will continue to flush them down the loo and the problems of fatbergs etc won't go away! Using Cheeky Wipes is a brilliant alternative and also has got rid of my guilty conscience! They wash well, are presented nicely, smell beautiful and the whole thing is quality! Thank you for Cheeky Wipes!

Sturdy, great design

The boxes are well made and sturdy. Like the colour coding of the kits with the essential oils. Ordered the pink box as a variation for reusable sanitary products. Love the design feature of the hooks with the net so you donít need to get your hands in the soaking solution.

Great first impressions

I have wanted to try non disposables for a long time to cut the amount of throwaway plastic I am using. I have used these for the first time and am really pleasantly surprised...they are beautifully soft and they clean up really well with no staining so far (I purchased a mucky box to soak them in before washing) They do move about slightly but will try tighter fitting underwear as suggested in other leakages so far as theyíre super absorbent. Will definitely try the thinner cotton ones for towards the end of my period.

As someone who wears a "just in case" incontinence pad, I was getting really tired of buying pads, wearing them and putting them into landfill, especially when 99% of the time I hadn't needed to wear one anyway.
I bought some of these initially to wear around the house, at least I thought I will be reducing the amount I use. Now I wear them everywhere!

I ordered three pairs and I'm going back for more...... I suffer with mehorragia and it usually looks like a horror movie even with two maternity pads but these little beauts kept everything in overnight no stress!
Definitely buying more.
My only criticisism is that they sit quite low..... I'd like them to come up slightly higher for all out Bridget Jones comfort!

A great way to reduce your plastic use.

I tried washable sanitary pads 15 years ago but found they just didnít keep me dry. These Cheekywipes pads are a whole different thing! I bought two to try and now Iíve ordered another ten; I wonít be going back to disposable pads. Theyíre comfortable, absorbent and donít slide around (as long as you follow the advice about the nap on the back). Highly recommended x

Fabulous - wish i had discovered them sooner

I bought the starter pack and was so impressed i bought some more day pads for me and my sister. Really well made, comfortable and so absorbant. They wash really well too. I shall never go back to disposables.

Loving it

Iíve only had these wipes for a week but as a busy childminder they have impacted well in my setting. As you can imagine lots of runny noses and bum changes needed attending to and I love the feel and smell of these. Iíve also asked the children and they prefer them too. Much nicer than wet wipes. Iíve even used them to wipe down hard surfaces in the kitchen. Iíll definitely be carrying on.

Fantastic value

I have tried cloth pads on and off over the years and never really took to them. I mostly use a cup but sometimes like the security of having a pad too. These are so comfortable and stay in place really well (but snug fitting pants are a must!). I think they are terrific value and my order came super fast.

Great product!

We have been pleasantly surprised by how easy the switch has been and like that you can still use them out and about with the travel bags. You do need to be pretty disciplined and organised with keeping supplies fresh and would definitely suggest a second pack of wipes so you have plenty for wash rotation. We wash them on a 60 degree wash so they are totally clean and have no issue then using bum wipes for hands and face. Although there is the option to have white ones for hands and face and colours for the bum, comes down to personal preference, but they genuinely clean and fresh. We really started looking at this option because my youngest has really sore nappy rash from every wipe brand we've tried leading to us spending a small fortune on sudocream and other such products. Since using cloth wipes its been a miracle for his bum as its no longer red and sore. I love how usually 1 wipe does the job whereas you need to use some 5-6 packet wipes and we were going through them pack after pack with 2 boys! So bottom line buy them we wouldn't go back now having changed across.

Never looked back!!

I bought these around 18 months ago and they still look like new. I originally ran on night pads and liners which was fine. These cope with 'flooding' amazingly well, I have never had a leak. They haven't stained and they are not gross at all. I was sceptical to read that period pain can be reduced by switching from disposables but its true. My flow is a little lighter and doesn't last as long. I just chuck them in with the washing or with the nappies. I now have a few day pads for the last day, purely because they looked pretty and I'm slightly addicted. They are so soft and don't move around in my underwear even thought they're a shiney material. I use the liners every day just chucking them in the normal wash and they are still like new. Granted they're slightly more grey than white on top but I can deal with that. These are by far some of the cheapest CSP out there. I have tried slightly cheaper but these are made so much better. The quality is untouchable.
